Kliklok-Woodman has just installed a Lithoplate wrapping machine at Fuji USA, and will be delivering a 2^nd machine shortly.  A custom-engineered machine from the Kliklok-Woodman range, this impressive piece of equipment offers a unique wrapping application for producers of lithographic plates. The plates are wrapped in paper to provide protection against light and damage in transit.  Lithoplate manufacturers like Fuji need to have versatile machinery that can easily adapt to packing short runs of plates that can vary in size typically between 250 by 250mm to 1400 x 2000mm.  Servo-adjustable size changing is achievable in under one minute, with the new sizes either put in by hand or downloaded from a central production control system.

Fuji is known as a world leader in manufacturing of lithoplates - used in the printing industry - and the company is embarking on major expansion. These 2 new lithoplate wrapping machines will form integral parts of their packing lines.
